Birth and Parenting The Second Time Around

Many people expect that their experiences with pregnancy, birth and parenting will be easier the second time around. However, the reality can be quite different, especially if the last birth was complicated. While looking forward to a new arrival, many parents worry about the impact of a second baby. Will they be able to love the new baby as much as the first? How will they ever be able to spend enough time with both children? How should they prepare for separation? How can they reduce sibling rivalry?

This class will acknowledge the perfectly normal ambivalence that many parents experience and will provide practical strategies to help you face the challenges of the second time around!
