Child Emergency Workshop

Perfect for expectant and new parents, grandparents, babysitters and nannies, this three-hour workshop is taught by an experienced paramedic and covers CPR and basic first aid for infants and children. Join us for this informative and potentially life saving workshop. All participants receive a certificate. The workshop meets the guidelines of the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Topics include:
• Choking rescue
• Infant/child CPR
• Allergic reactions
• Bleeding
• Falls/head injuries
• Seizures/Burns
• What you need to do until the paramedics arrive

The workshop includes a reference book and a certificate of attendance.

Cost: $45 per person/$80 per couple (member price $41.50 per person or $72 per couple)

Note: private classes can be arranged at your convenience. In centre, a minimum of 10 people is required and standard per person/per couple fees apply. In home classes for up to 8 people can also be arranged at a cost of $360.
