Caesarean Birth - What are your choices? What are the chances?

Whether you want one or not, Caesarean births are becoming increasingly common. This class will provide an overview of the most recent research in obstetrics, urogynecology and anaesthesiology, and will prepare you and your partner to communicate more effectively and make informed decisions in collaboration with your physician. The course is taught by a registered nurse and topics include:

• C-section on request – How does this really work?
• Vaginal birth after c-section (VBAC) – pro & con information
• Reducing the likelihood of caesarean birth
• The impact of a c-section on family planning and future pelvic (dys)function.
