Becoming a Breastfeeding Mother: Breastfeeding Preparation Class

How can something “perfectly natural” be so complicated? This essential class will prepare you for a positive and confident start to breastfeeding. A registered nurse and certified lactation consultant will discuss:

• Establishing and maintain your milk supply
• How to help your baby “latch” effectively
• Understanding your baby’s feeding cues and feeding patterns
• Learning about pumping and storing milk

This three hour class meets on a Saturday or Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.

Next available classes: Aug. 17th, Sept. 14th, Sept. 28th, Oct. 12th, Oct. 26th, Nov. 9th and Nov. 23rd and Dec. 7th.
