Reading Rocks Early Literacy Class for Children in SK to Grade 2

This class will build on the skills your child is learning in school.
This class takes a dualistic approach to learning, both whole language as well as phonics. The instructor of this class is a certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers and has run a very successful literacy program since 2003. She has developed techniques that are now being adapted in many classrooms. She is a frequent guest lecturer at universities to teacher education classes as well as ECE programs on the topic of using sign language to promote literacy in our schools. This class will use a number of fun and motivating techniques that your child will love. We will learn through games, songs, crafts and sign language.

Time: Next 14 week session begins Thursday, Sept. 11th at 4:15pm
