Tummy Time for 2 (or More)

During the first year of life, babies are eager to move, explore, communicate and learn. Parents, grandparents, child-care professionals and educators can make a critical difference in this formative year by taking a dynamic approach to parenting based on their active physical participation.    FloorPlay is central to the development of the basic neuro-physical movements babies naturally perform that build their brain, body and joy of movement!   In this parent education seminar we will discuss the importance of Tummy Time from the newborn to the active explorer on hands-on-knees.   You will learn that creating a space for Tummy Time each day provides the essential developmental movement foundation for babies to reach their full potential to become dynamic explorers, expressive communicators and self-motivated learners.
