Fun With ABCs

This class will begin to introduce your child to the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make as well as early introduction to word patterning. This class takes a dualistic approach to learning, both whole language as well as phonics. The instructor of this class is a certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers and has run a very successful literacy program since 2003. She has developed techniques that are now being adapted in many classrooms. She is a frequent guest lecturer at universities to teacher education classes as well as ECE programs on the topic of using sign language to promote literacy in our schools. This class will use a number of fun and motivating techniques that your child will love. We will learn through games, songs, crafts and sign language.

Time: Next 14 week session begins Wednesday, Sept. 10th at 2:15pm (children born 2005-2006) or Thursday, Sept. 11 at 2:15pm (children born 2004-2005).
